Lee spent hours writing an article, submitted it to Substack and was promptly informed that it was 80% AI-generated. So, she rewrote it only to have the detector come back with 100%.
The problem? It was all her own work.
Turns out, 15 years of writing and editorial experience have taught Lee to write a little too much like a robot.
In this episode, Lee and Richard get stuck into the latest AI witch hunt, the accusations of AI slop, the outrage over a pub using AI-generated posters, and the rather ridiculous situation where writers are being encouraged to make their work worse just to prove they’re human.
We’re not entirely sure when being able to write well became suspicious, but here we are.
